About FYR Team

Helping Men Hear God’s Voice, Build Skills, and

Finish Their Race with Joy

What is FYR Team ?

FYR stands for Finish Your Race.  Team speaks to the fact that we're on God's team and we're a team of men together who want to finish our race of life with joy. (Acts 20:24, Heb. 12:1-2)

FYR Team is an experience where men (initially men, then sons, daughters, women and families) learn certain practical life skills while being challenged spiritually to follow their Father with all their hearts.

Each experience will start with a 3-4 day intensive, involve instruction on a specific practical life skill for men, and include unplugging from electronics, gathering in an intimate setting with the group, and spending quiet, focused alone time with Jesus.

It will also include quality and corporate morning time with Jesus, workouts and shared meals.

The practical skills learned will fuel the spiritual challenges given.  Worship of our King will permeate the experience and everything done spiritually will be preceded by prayer and seeking what our Father wants to bring to the group:

Men will always be spurred spiritually to:

-hear their Father’s voice

-discover the man they are in Him in the fullness of the Gospel

-recognize their giftings and why they were created for such a time as this,

-learn how to love and lead their wives, children, employees and enemies,

-learn to embrace challenges: the fire refines, count it all joy, and
